About Jessa

Jessa Russo is a hopeless romantic, a lover of all things 1990s, and a passionate adventurer with dreams of seeing the world someday. When she's not travelling, you can be sure she's planning the next adventure. 

Jessa lives by the beach in Southern California with her husband and their daughter, where she watches too much Netflix, enjoys pairing cheese and wine, and spends as much time as she can making memories with her friends and family. 

She's a social butterfly by nature and prides herself on being the life of the party, so you can probably find her at any given time with a smile on her face and a glass of champagne in hand, surrounded by the people who feed her soul. 

She will always call Southern California home, but her heart is in New Orleans, and she hopes to "retire" in Baja.

Jessa's young adult projects span the genre field, but will always have a lot of kissing and a little heartbreak. Isn't that what falling in love as a teen is all about?

Her currently published titles are Ever, Evade, and Entwined, which make up the paranormal romance series The Ever Trilogy, a standalone gender-flipped Beauty and the Beast retelling titled Divide, and a lesbian contemporary romance mashup of Grease meets Mean Girls called Girls Who Lie Together.

After a rough year in 2022, and a shelved story she was quite passionate about, Jessa planned to say goodbye to the young adult side of her writing forever... but with her hiatus came a renewed sense of purpose. 

In 2023, she published that shelved passion project, picked herself up by the bootstraps, and marched on. 

She hopes that 2024 will bring with it the release of the long-awaited Ark of Dreams Duology and the rewrite of her previously unreleased paranormal romance, Love In A Straitjacket.
